  1. We LOOOVE Spinach Slice. It’s kind of an adaption to zucchini slice and packed full of veggie goodness! I make double to have with dinner then the rest is used in lunch boxes – it freezes well.
I have the recipe written out on an image file if it’s required I can supply. 🙂

  2. My go to slice would be the chocolate weetbix slice. Because without fail i buy a box of weetbix my son will eat it for 2 or 3 breakfasts then refuse to eat anymore so i end up making a heap of the slice to avoid wastage and everyone loves it so its a double win i think 🙂

  3. Hope this enters me into the competition. I couldnt get use full website.

My new favourite smoothie recipie for miss 11 months is
Little bit of water to help blend. Full of all good greens.
And the boys even like it because its ninja turtle food lol. Win win

  4. I make my own yoghurt using a recipe that I’ve played around with. I use pot set yoghurt as starter (or some of my last batch) and long life full cream milk with milk powder. Makes a thick yoghurt.

  5. Mango Smoothie’s are just so delicious and are always getting whipped up in our family home! Milk, yogurt, honey, fresh mango and 1 tablespoon of yogurt ice cream. Simple yet tastes brilliant! 🙂

  6. I make a simple smoothie for Saturday brekkie pre-sports and most Summertime breakfasts that is made up of: banana, oats, chia seeds, honey, frozen berries, almond milk & normal milk, all whizzed up its super yummy.

  7. Our favorite slice is Anzac Slice. We all love it. It’s great for lunches and snacks. I love making it with my boys they love helping too. It’s a great activity. Thank you

  8. Not super healthy – but definately a yummy treat! It’s also My go to slice if I’m going somewhere or even a quick dessert – apple crumble slice! It’s so easy to make and seriously yummy! It can also be adapted to berries, peaches or whatever fruit you want!

  9. we have two favourite slice recipes, zucchini slice for something healthy or chocolate Crunchy slice for something a little bit naughty 😉
The kids love both and they both freeze well, the Crunchy slice can ever be eaten from frozen! yum!!

  10. My kids love my redskin split smoothie. Add banana, raspberries, red grapes, a small wedge of lemon and a dash of coconut cream or water and blitz!

  11. I make a sort of home made drinky yoghurt
I put yoghurt, milk and a favoring (honey is their fave) in a cup mix it all together put on a lid and put a straw in
    We love it

  12. Town bike slice aka magic slice is a winner here known for its easiness and only five ingredients just layer in a lined slice pan rolled oats coconut dried friut cranberries or sultanas are our fav bag of choc chips and pour over a tin of condensed milk pop in the oven and watch the magic happen.. this is a little naughty super easy really yummy and can be frozen too 🙂

  13. My two kids fave smoothie is the simple berry and chocolate smoothies. As my 7 yr old cant eat bananas due to an allergy we avoid a lot of sweet smoothie recipes but put berries (any sort!), milk, yoghurt, dash of honey and a small amount of cocoa powder into the bullet, blitz it all up and drink it down! The kids love ice cream in it on a hot day to jazz it up too!

  14. My favourite smoothie at the moment is living for summer with a frozen banana, some frozen pineapple, some passion fruit, lots of spinach and coconut water with some ice to blend! Feels like a holiday!

  15. Lunchbox slice
    50g butter
    110g (1/2 cup) raw sugar
    60ml (1/4 cup) honey
    200g pepitas (pumpkin seeds)
    1 Sanitarium Weet-bix, crushed
    90g (1/2 cup) sultanas
    50g (1/2 cup) rolled oats
    75g (1/2 cup) self-raising flour

Preheat oven to 170°C. Line a 20cm (base measurement) square cake pan with non-stick baking paper. Place the butter, sugar and honey in a saucepan over medium-low heat. Cook, stirring, for 2-3 minutes or until the mixture is smooth and the sugar has dissolved. Set aside to cool slightly.
Step 2 Combine the pepitas, Weet-bix, sultanas, oats and flour in a large bowl. Add the butter mixture and stir until combined.
Step 3 Spoon the mixture into the lined pan and use the back of a spoon to smooth the surface. Bake in oven for 25 minutes or until golden. Set aside in the pan for 30 minutes to cool completely. Cut into slices to serve.

I usually use the White Choc, almond and pistachio energy mix from the shop instead so sultans, pepitas!!

And I find the honey and sugar can be cut back too

  16. it’s a tough one, either a traditional apple slice made by my grandma or mums famous apple & sourcream slice that has a crumble coconut bottom 🙂

  17. Our fav slice changes depending what’s in the fridge! It’s left over rice slice –
Approx 2 cups left over cooked rice
Approx 1 cup mixed veggies (whatever you have in fridge – cherry tomatoes halved, zucchini / pumpkin / carrots / sweet potato grated, thin pineapple slices)
    1 cup grated cheddar cheese
    1/3 cup feta crumbled (optional)
    4 eggs
    Big dash milk
    Dash soy sauce

Mix all together, press into a lined slice tin & bake 20 mins 180 deg. Sprinkle some grated parmasen on and bake another 12 mins till cooked and browned.
Delicious hot or cold and freezes well to just pull out and pop in lunch boxes.
(My kids love a little tub of tomato sauce to smear ontop too! )

  18. Has to be zucchini slice with bacon n cheese.
My mum used to always make it for me when I was little snd then when i got pregnant bit was one of ghose things that I craved, while crying cause the smell bought back amazing memories….ah pregnancy hormones

  19. My current favourite would have to be easy Anzac slice. It’s much quicker to make than biscuits as you just melt the butter and add everything else and my boys love it!

  20. No real favourite in our house as we are trying really hard to make more from scratch and cur out processed foods and sugar. Seeing everyone else’s entries have given me some great ideas and winning this pack would be a great way round Kickstart this change.

  21. Our favourite slice is a gluten and dairy free chocolate coconut slice, you would not believe it was dairy free if you tasted it. We also love a yummy mixed berry and almond milk smoothie.
